I’m thrilled to join this community and share my 1999 EK Civic Turbo build. This car has been a labor of love, with countless hours and dollars invested in bringing it to life. I’m here to learn, connect with other enthusiasts, and get some help with dialing in the final details to make this car truly shine.



Here’s a breakdown of the build and modifications so far:



Engine Build

• Motor: Fully built B-Series with a GSR VTEC head.

• Head Work:

• Ported GSR VTEC head.

• BK springs, retainers, and turbo cams.

• Bottom End:

• Type R pistons.

• Eagle rods.

• Upgraded head studs.

• Turbo Setup:

• eBay USA EK Civic turbo kit (T3-T4 turbo, cast manifold, front-mount intercooler, intake).

• 3-inch stainless steel mandrel-bent exhaust.

• Fuel System Upgrades:

• Modified stock fuel rail for E85 with AN fittings.

• GFB FX-S fuel pressure regulator.

• Bosch Motorsport 621cc injectors.

• Ti Automotive 250lph fuel pump.

• New fuel tank.

• Engine Management:

• Hondata S300 ECU.

• Haltech Flex Fuel Sensor.

• Haltech WB1 Wideband Controller.

• Haltech 3-Port Boost Solenoid.

• Ignition System: NGK ZFR6FIX spark plugs.



Suspension and Braking

• Suspension Upgrades:

• New upper control arms and rear control arms.

• Hardrace rear trailing arm bushings (hardened rubber).

• Brakes:

• Honda CRV front calipers.

• Honda EK Civic GLi rear disc conversion.

• DBA T2 rotors (282mm front, 239mm rear).

• Goodridge braided brake lines.

• Elig Sport front pads and Intima SR rear pads.



Wheels and Tires

• Wheels: SSW Tuning 15x7.5-inch +30 offset.

• Tires: Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08R 205/50R15.



Current State



The car runs and drives, but it still needs a few minor adjustments and tweaks to be completely finished. I’ve poured a ton of time, effort, and money into this project, and I have all the paperwork to back up the build. I’m confident that with the right advice and help, this EK Civic will be an absolute beast!



What I Need Help With

1. Tuning Recommendations: I’m looking for a trusted tuner with experience in turbocharged B-Series engines and Hondata systems.

2. Shop Recommendations: A reliable mechanic who can handle performance setups and help refine the build.

• I’m based in New Hampshire but am willing to travel to Massachusetts for someone with the right expertise.
