Do all K24 leak oil from pressure sensor?
Im curious if all the K24 motors eventually leak oil from the oil pressure sensor?
I owned a 2006 CRV SE for over 10 years, did 280k miles on it, that sensor was never touched and then one day I noticed it was leaking, I had the mechanic swap it out and he cracked the bung (block) and I was never able to fix it. I felt like it wasent his fault, that the bung was already cracked and he just made it worse when he screwed in the new sensor. I have read tons of testimonies online of K24 owners with the same issue.
Im thinking about getting another 2006 CRV but Im concerned about the oil pressure sensor mainly, the rear suspension sag and lateral movement on gravel, snow and ice is another one (crazy feeling)
I also owned a 1998 CRV with the B20, I know everything about that car, but its tough to find them in decent shape these days so I was considering another 2nd gen.

Mines leaked a few times from the pressure sensor during the last decade. Always leaking from somewhere lol. It loves to spring leaks from the spool valve solenoid gasket though. I’d say that’s the most common for the K24.
