You will have serious traction issues...trust me. Don't expect anything too great until you get used to it.
For example, I ran a 10.1 @ 74 in the 1/8th spinning all the way through the traps w/o nitrous, and obviously on street tires.
Before you put in, GET AN LSD!!!!

no you didnt

those times are bassackwards

that low of an et would indicate an insane hookup and 60ft time. ie awd

You should be in the 12's.

A CRX Hf the lightest car you can buy. If a HF CRX with a stock B16 hits 13.8 in the 1/4, You should be able to shaved more than a second with the set up you got.]
I'm pretty sure you'll be in the 12's with some good slicks.

a CRVTEC should easily go 18.40's on partial throttle. just imagine if you floored it! wow.

ditch the itr flywheel and get a jun/toda/comptech.

Street tires you should pull mid to low 13s, depending on how much your rex weighs and the quality of your tires. You have an HF which is the lightest 2nd gen crx. Slicks I would say high 12s are within reach. Run it and let us know!

I dont know who told you that a HF with a STOCK b16 hit 13.8 but they were lying...unless it came stock with nitrous or something. I very rarely see b16'd crx's get out of the 15's...i think you might have meant 14.8?

Sirhatchback:IF you con hook up then you could easily be low 13 maybe even high 12's woth good conditions. I would have to agree that you should spend the money on an LSD. Some stiff *** springs and light 14's with 24 or 25 inch slicks would put you in the 12's easily. Sounds like a beast...cant wait to see the actual times. What type of fuel management are you planning on running? Good luck with it all man.

with stock internals ..intake header and exhaust (the basics) 13.5@103mph street tires...LS tranny ....6 puck... depending on ur driving skills. with a jg head package ... and a built block also ... with a lightened flywheel... 6puck clutch .... individual throttle bodies ..... drag radials LSD b16a tranny ...ill let u know when we run it at the track.

when i had a stock b16a motor with only the basics and a stock clutch ..i ran a 14.7@95mph .... i doubt 13's ..at least not stock .

yeah really man. just buy a geo metro with a bumper sticker that says "my weekend car is a crvtec crx" then no one will make fun of you but you wont be in debt. keep the rex man, sounds like you've been working on it too long to just sell it.

We're talking about a 1800lbs car the lightest one.
Here is why i'm asuming this,
B16A
170hp @ 7800 rpm
116lb/ft @ 7300 rpm
8200rpm redline
13.90 seconds
99.4 mph

I think This is true because a friend of mine hits 14.4 with a 90 dx hatch with a stock b16 / street tires , [2103 lbs 300lbs more].

yah i have been working on it too long to just sell it...
Okay, for the oversized valves, it was when I was stupid and i was going to go turbo, but running short on cash, im going to run all motor for now...

I found a solution to fix my daily driver kia while being able to keep my crx and parts, so i will let you know how it progress'
its kinda sexy having a 2000 JDM b20b w/ a factory knock sensor, gotta love the PHK-XO pistons also...
Im figuring with my valves, and my cometic head gasket im shooting for around 10.2-10.5... nothing crazy.
Im going to clay my motor see how much i need to dremel out the valve reliefs.

ill shoot up some pictures of the b20 block later... here are some pics of the head.

Ill shoot up pics of my port and polished R intake manafold soon
