Hello my eg civic recently died on me while driving and I’m pretty sure it’s the distributor since I’m not getting spark to any of the plugs. The question is am I able to swap the internals of a different distributor such as from a b series or an earlier generation zc. The engine in the car is the d16a9/zc, 0bd1 with the cam sensor in the distributor so I can’t do a straight swap with another zc distributor unless it’s the same type of zc. I have not been able to find the same distributor that’s currently in the car witch is why I want to know if I can swap the internals. Cheers

 

You'll have to compare part numbers to see if the non dual cam d series or b series obd1 distributors use the same internal parts.
