Hello fellow honda enthusiasts:

i recently did a had gasket replacement on my del sol B16A v tec.

prior to my car ran fine accept for the obvious head gasket issue.
im finally done with the replacement and now the car does when i drive it, the car is OBD1 engine with OBD1 EWH. i think my alternator is the proper one for DOHC but hard to tell the difference. the second thing im woundering is perhaps im crazy but i remember removing more than two wires from the alternator when i removed the head. does anyone know if theres a third cable that bolts to the back
of the alternator which is cause my battery to
not charge?

PS: does anyone know if Vtec alternators have 4 grooves or 5? thx
