Default brake fluid?

What is a good brake fluid for a daily driven 5th gen Prelude?? I want to use them with steel braided brake lines.
Is it true that fluids over DOT4 (race fluids) can damage my brake system? Common brands here in germany are Ferodo, Castrol, Motul,...
Thanx!

some synthetic fluids will eat seals, you really do not need a high temp fluid for a daily driver, just a good flush will work

.. Synthetics on any lude thats not "Race ready" will prove to be more of a damage than anything.. if I was you , I would go down to the local "lube" staion and ask what they think.. and then get the next best thing k? cheers
