I'm trying to get some help from the more expert people here. here is the thing
I just did a Auto to manual Swap on my CRV (using an Element manual transmission)
mechanically got everything done. but I cant start the thing ( dash board shows transmission on Drive)
I still have the Auto ECU and I have no clue what wires and locations for them I need to put together to bypass the Neutral switch
Any one has done this before and if you could share information that would be fantastic
I'm a very visual guy so I photo or 2 would be greatly appreciated
thanks for the prompt response, but like I'm not familiar with the harness
where is the Neutral wires ( what colors and how many should I connect)
the Auto shifter pug is on the transmission pugs the ones that are no connected any longer.
its my 1st swap so I'm not really familiar with a lot of terminologies
Hello Smack
Thanks for the support and the diagram will do the changes make the changes so I can get the car running I will share photos of my process in case any one has questions regarding this Swap
I got an Element M and I added the 6th gear and bought a LSD Kit for the Differential.
the shifter was a pint on the butt to figure out (Installation)
since there is not really a write out. I have to get creative I see the CRV is not really a popular car for Transmission Swap or we don't leave any records for others that try it.
well I will get some Photos once I get the car Running
According to the diagram the neutral position is the red/black wire. Take the auto shifter plug and connect that wire together with the black ground wire and it will always be in neutral.
The starter cut relay circuit like Smackin mention should be jumped to bypass the transmission range switch (neutral switch). So the Blk ground wire needs to be jumped to the Blu/Wht wire going to the starter cut relay.
