EH9 EG Civic A/C Button not working after loop shorted plug. HELP!
1994 Honda Civic EH9 D16Y1
Hi guys,
Whilst diagnosing my AC (Compressor clutch keeps clicking/engaging ON and OFF. I accidently shorted out the male 3 PIN connector that goes to the Evaporator Thermostat using a paperclip located behond the glovebox compartment and on the Evaporator housing. I did this whilst the car was ON and AC button was ON. Now the LED on the button doesn't turn ON at all and the compressor doesn't click in or work. What have I done! I need HELP! Did I short out the cable or is there a fuse or relay somewhere that goes to the AC button or unit? I don't know what to do as I don't have a multi-meter to check continuity between the plugs or cables etc. This is an example of what I did to this plug. This lume connects to the Evap thermostat (In pic) and also connects to various other parts of the AC unit (Blower etc)
