With the sub frame in the engine bay pictured above... you will need the '98 EK Civic "D" series rear engine bracket.

Do you have a DOHC ZC transmission (uses an intermediate shaft bolted to the back of the block... so that L and R axles are equal length.) ???

That's exactly what I was thinking. I dont think dohc zc came in ek did it? If not then there isn't an oem rear t bracket for it.

The "T" bracket that you have pictured two posts above mine appears to be from a "B" series swap application (or a chassis similar to a USDM EM1). Could this be why it doesn't seem to fit properly ? A "D" series bracket bolts up flush/next to the ear on the transmission case (through transmission ear on case -> through front of "T" bracket and into the threaded nut side), whereas, the "B" series "T" bracket pinches AROUND the ear of the block with a bolt passing through (bracket hole -> block -> threaded nut side of bracket).

I have used D series T bracket from 98 manual tranmission only it required minor modificaiton in matching and shifting holes which was not alligned, i didn't use the ear side of the tranmission so far will do that later when car is on the movie will modify the T bracket
