Hi i was just wondering if anyone could let me know if this type s integra has the k20z1 or not as i am looking to buy a type s dc5 but dont want to end up with the k20a3. I am not quite sure what the difference is by looking at the engines. The owner has said it comes with the original k20z1 but i just want to confirm it if anyone knows if it is the k20z1 or k20a2 or how i could figure out what k series it is. cheers

What year type s is it? If it’s a 05-06 it’s a K20Z1. Only the Base RSX’s came with the K20a3. All other years of the Type S came with the K20A2.
That honestly looks like a k20A3 to me just by looking at the intake manifold! The Z1 doesn’t have black plastic runners, the entire IM is aluminum. The pic is pretty far away to see much more than that.
