Is a D16a6 compatible with a P2J-7

Hi, I recently purchased a 1991 civic DX and the owner had pulled the engine and was planning to build a new engine with a D16a6 bottom end and a P2J-7 top end. Are these two compatable??

D16a6 block yes, p2j head no.

thanks for the reply but I should have been more clear, I am also doing a MINI swap with a vtec head (P2J-7 head).

No. Use a p08 head or a p2p.

Ok, but will the P2J-7 head still work with the D16a6 block?
