Default RPM gauge not working

Hey guys. I have a 94 eg hatch. Has a b20 awd swap. Lost rpm a few months ago and haven’t figured out how to get it back.

On hts it shows my rpm as accurate so I am getting a reading. My dash lights all work and speedometer also works. I replaced my cluster with another one and rpm still doesn’t work.

my best guess is a fuse.

I would check the wire for the tach signal. On B series, there is a wire that comes off the distributor that goes straight to the cluster. The wire could be damaged. If it's like mine, it goes from the distributor to the firewall around the clutch master.
