Default oil & spark plugs

Hey guys I got a small question. I got a little bit of oil in the 2nd plug chamber and I think its my piston seals, but I want to know what you guys think it may be and if its a big deal. Also around how often are the plugs and cables to be changed? I usually do mine like every 3-4th time I do the oil. By the way I got 93 Si.

<FONT COLOR="blue">Cant answer the 1st part, but i change oil and filter every 3k, religiously.

And Plugs every ... 8k or so.
Plug leads shudnt need to be changed very often, if @all... dunno, but I changed mine few months ago, when the car had about 44k on it. Im assuming it hadnt been done b4 that. But i did replace with OEM spec leads. No point goin performance ones less ur engine is seriously tuned.

The tech forum is your best friend on that question. Before you go as far saying it's your piston seals, you should check your grommets on the valve cover. You do have a 93 model vehicle, do you have high mileage? Check that 1st because might not even be that serious. Those grommets prevent oil from leaking to spark plug holes. That could be your problem.

SOUNDS like the O rings gasket around the spark plug hole////valve cover....bah dont know exact terms

take it off, and get new ones, somethin like 2$ a pop, fairely cheap, replace them all!!!!! dont jew out and only replace the fucked up one...the valve cover gasket, i'd change too, but I dont think is as big of a deal, cause a leak you can always tell

as for plugs...bah I swap NGK's every 50 000KM...just cause I drive her hard as ****, the wires...I change as well, mine are crappy candian-tire (pep boyz for the americans) life time warranty ones, so I just **** them up and bring them back for new ones
