Default Dust Seal or Hub replacement?


I’m just trying to figure out what to order.. I’ve been told 2 different things. I have a 2000 ex AWD.
was replacing most suspend parts, pulled this off the cv axle and this ring came flying off. It is metal. Is it just a dust seal or do I need to replace the hub? It looks more like a dust seal to me.. just all the rubber ripped off

It's part of the driveshaft, not the hub. Many aftermarket driveshafts don't include one, but it should be there. It's not an enumerated part in the catalog, unfortunately.

Note, not present in hub/bearing or driveshaft drawings:
