Q. Is it more likely for a bad main relay to burn out the fuel pump or
a bad fuel pump to burn out the main relay?

Contxt. 89 civic EF has been sitting for 7 years. I went through all the fluids. I bought a new fuel pump, KEMSO 340LP, I started her up and drove around. I stalled out 2 twice😂👏🏻 . After the last stall there was no start up. I could no longer hear fuel pump.
I checked the wire under the backseat with multimeter, No power, I wired up a std 5 pin Relay, multimeter shows power now. Still no fuel pump sound or start up.
I assuming the relay and fuel pump burnt out at the same time. My main curiosity is did my new pump burn my relay. Or did my old relay burn out my new pump. (No visual shorts on wire)

 

I have seen a lot of threads about fuel pumps and relays but not this situation
