Default Supertech valves amd valve seals

Rebuilding my gsr head with all supertech parts but for some reason when it comes to my valves and valve seals there's some play plus a small gap between the two wondering if that's normal

Was there resistance on the valve when you first inserted it into the valve guide and through the stem seal ? If so, then they are correct. If not, it is possible that even though the part number suggests that it is for a 5.5mm valve stem diameter, they may be mis-packaged and in fact are for non-VTEC (6mm) valves.

Yea there was resistance when I tried to put the valve into the guide but took it to the machine shop and got that fixed but didn't take the seals with me when I did it

I may not have been clear enough... resistance through the guide is not what I meant. With the valve stem seal installed, when you begin to slide the valve tip into the guide and ultimately up to the valve stem seal, pushing further should cause some resistance as the valve tip passes through the seal. If the hole in the valve stem seal is too large for the valve, there would be no resistance when the valve tip passes through the seal.

So that gap between the seal and stem is normal won't oil leak or will the valve steam expand over time with heat
