Help!! K24a swap in my 2012 accord coupe
I recently swapped my k24z3 for a k24a after swapping some minor parts such as… throttle body, power steering pump vtc sensor, coolant flow tube with thermostat housing. I started the car and I have the roughest idle and cylinder 4 misfire. Replaced plugs coils and injectors…. No change misfire still there. I did a compression test to find out cylinder 4 only has 90psi.. BAD! The engine is used from jdm engine depot. I called to talk to someone and they said it’s common from sitting for so long that the piston rings are stuck. I was told to put marvel mystery oil 2 caps down the cylinder and let sit for 24 hrs. I didn’t and still no change. Does anybody think there is a different issue or was engine depot right? Please help and sorry for the long paragraph
