Icon5 Shifter Issue

I’ve searched this site for days and haven’t found anything on my specific issue; so I hope this post is ok.

i have the B Series Hybrid Racing shifter. After about 7 months of owning it, it’s starting to have a ton of vertical play. I’m working with their customer service to diagnose (which has been great) but I’m new to cars and am ignorant when it comes to shift linkage issues. I shot some videos to see if any of you might be able to shed some light on what I need to do.

For context, 2000 Civic Ek with a B16B swap

Thanks in advance

Might be missing the C clip that holds it on the ball joint.

You called it. After a lot of back and forth trouble shooting with Hybrid Racing. The Cir Clip failed. They’re sending me one to fix the issue. Hopefully I’ll have it up and running for KC Street Car Takeover.
