B18 Turbo circuit racing heating management
Hey folks! so im pretty "new to b series, just been working alot with K swaps.
But i have a EG with B18c6 engine (euro ITR) and S80 gearbox with a small turbo (gtx2867 gen2 garrett)
I havent tuned or used the car since the turbokit came on but how does those Halfsize radiators handle circuit racing on boosted B-series?
whats the BIGGEST radiators out there that fit with turbos on the B series?
I currently have a Skunk2 Alpharad with a SPAL fan.
When i drive the car on highway no matter how many hours etc it stays on 182 degrees but im worried that i will get heating problems after a few laps on the circuit now when its boosted.
Any other B-series Circuit racers that are running turbo?
The powergoal of this car wont be crazy, like 400bhp and tons of handling uppgrades.

You might find my build thread useful in the forced induction section. Last track day was 95 ambient and I was touching 215. There were a few things I've changed up since, the way it ducts out. Next one is next weekend in pittsburgh so I have a feeling it won't be as hot. Car should have no problem staying cool.
Sweet! im going to take a look!
But yeah a "bashbar" sulotion looks like its going to be the best way to go to increase the radiator size
Going to read ur thread .
Good luck next weekend
