Hey so I’ve seen a lot of people use “easy off fume free” to clean their engine, I read that easy off is bad to use on aluminum cause of the lye in it that eats aluminum but in the fume free version of easy off there’s no sodium hydroxide which is lye so if there’s no lye in the fume free version is it safe to use on aluminum? Just trying to find the best procedure to clean a k series. Also how are people able to pressure wash their engine without water getting into the pistons especially since they don’t even block off the intake or exhaust ports? Thanks and have a great day!
