auto intake to manual

would you be able to swap the auto intake for a manual and just put the iacv where the manual version would go?

No. The auto IACV mounts to the bottom of the throttle body, whereas, the manual IACV mounts differently to the back of the intake manifold. The two devices are not interchangeable.
