Jumping RPM on acceleration EK1 HX (CVT)
Hi
I'm new here, my name is Sebastian and I drive an EK1 with the cvt transmission. My car has 110k km's and runs very smoothly.
I recently bought it and replaced all fluids (including oem honda cvt fluid), timing belt and many more things.
I have some smaller issues with the transmission, when i shift into reverse it makes a slight chirping noise and when i take off it will very slightly clunk (both these problems are less severe now with new fluid btw.)
Now my biggest complaint is, that when the engine is cold, rpm jumps around 500rpm when accelerating mildly and less on higher rpm. After like 10mins when engine is on operating temp all goes away.
Does anyone have an idea what this could be?
I do not have this rpm jumping on idle.
Is that linked to transmission being worn or anything in that regard?
Thank you!
Best Regards
Sebastian
