Icon5 I wantto make off road rally looking hatcback?

I'm new to the whole car thing, and I wanted your opinion about which car/hatchback I should save up for I am mainly looking for something that has good MPG and can be reliable as well as parts being cheap if anything needs to be fixed I'm also interested trying to learn how to drive manual since my Dad said they last longer then automatic as well as have the best MPG. I currently drive a 1998 Honda Civic sedan LX 4-door automatic this is my first car by the way. I also got into watching WRC on YouTube and I like how cool the hatchbacks look I want to turn a Honda into that for fun and try it out on a track not trying to make a ricer just want to make it into a looking rally car that I can use all the time on the road 24/7 some old cars I had my eye on saving up for is the Honda CRX 1991-HF, Or a Honda hatchback DX either a 1998 or 1999 as for the cons looked up CRX rust easily and DX need a rear windshield wiper since I notice people saying they recommend driving with one my sedan doesn't a rear windshield wiper do so idk kinda worried that rear windshield may need to be fixed every month or something but I'm, not a car so idk sorry if I sound dumb also my dad said both are as durable and tough like my 98 sedans. Any type of advice would be welcomed
