HELP: Significant Axle/Transmission Slop
So long story short I had some noises coming from my front end when driving and I narrowed it down to my CV axles after I found out the boots were torn and one of them was locking up. After replacing them I noticed that It had only fixed some of the noise and not all of it so I jacked up the car and started shaking things to try to find out where the noise is coming from and I found that I have a significant amount of rotational play in both wheels. The play is coming from inside the transmission so I know that much about it, but I'm unsure about what component could be causing this. I planned on rebuilding the transmission this winter because I have some grinding in 1st gear, and my input shaft bearing is making some noise, but what I would like to know is what parts should I get to try to fix this (aside from the bearing kit and synchro's). I'm going to attach a video and a YouTube link of me spinning both of the wheels by hand so y'all can see what I'm talking about because I have scoured the internet and I have not been able to find anyone else who had this issue. I appreciate any advice anyone could provide
(Note: it does this in all gears including neutral and the other wheel does start to move once it gets past the slop)
