I have a usdm 2003 honda accord 3.0 v6 and I purchased a jdm 2004 honda accord 3.0 v6 motor with 70,000 miles on it. I used my original wiring harness, computer and oil filter housing. Ordered what I thought to be a vtec solenoid bc original solenoid was yanked off with a wheel grinder so when it arrived I wired it on the oil housing as the other one was. To my dismay my car is in limp mode so it won't go past 3500 rpms won't accelerate. Upon researching further was when I realized that we ordered a vvt solenoid instead of a vtec solenoid. Will this cause a p2647 obd2 code or will it cause it to be in limp mode. I don't know how to proceed further as we have replaced the oil pressure switch as well and still no improvement. I haven't been able to find just vtec solenoid by itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
