Hi guys,
I have swapped in a b16a2 and manual transmission into my auto 99 EJ6.
The car wont start, I have good spark, fuel in the fuel rail but the ground wires for the injectors dont pulse.

Any ideas? My main relay clicks on so I think thats good, I also have power to the injectors.

 

What ECU?

 

Hey mate, it says p30 and its obd2a.
I have it connected to an obd2b em1 wiring harness through a jumper harness

 

Have you bridged the 2 wires from the automatic selector? As it won’t start if it’s not in park

 

I have, I should add the car cranks over just fine but won't start

 

Hey guys what do you think,

I had a look at my wiring harness on the ecu side and there are lots of wires that have been spliced. Is it like this from factory?



Also I had a look at the ecu, is this leak bad?

 

Hey guys I figured it out.
I thought I had a JDM ecu without an immobilizer but it actually was an AUDM obd2a ecu with an immobiliser. The funny thing is the immobiliser in the ecu stops the injector signal.

I managed to find an ecu that had been de-immobilized and it started up straight away !!

 

Good to hear it was just the ECU I had a feeling haha
