Hi!

I've successfully replaced my leaking power steering pump, but then I discovered that the high pressure line was also leaking near where it goes into the steering rack.

I purchased a new high pressure power steering line and the installation seems straightforward enough, except there's a big thunky metal crossbar running across the back of the engine compartment and getting right in the way of me getting to the line. So far, I haven't found anything that even seems to reference this crossbar.

Is there a way to take it out so I can get at the line, or should I just have smaller arms?
