I have a 1991 crx will crank but does not start. at first check engine light was on before problem occurred and the ecu was just giving a continuously flashing light will turn on and be off for 3 seconds, without a different pattern. The next day vehicle would not start, and no spark would appear. proceed with replacing the coil, and distributor and nothing changed. then replaced the ecu to a good known one and nothing changed. swapped out the pgm-fi relay and nothing change. did find the fuse 14 on under dash fuse box blown, replaced it and as soon as i trun over the ignition it blows. the only way it wont blow is if the PG,-FI relay is disconnected. at first i thought i had a bad one so i replaced the relay and nothing changed. what should i perform now, what would be the next step?

 

A few suggestions:
1) Stop blindly throwing parts at it.
2) A flashing CEL means 1 fault only: Misfire!
3) Scan it for DTCs: the serially-blowing #14 fuse is a big FAT clue.
