2008 Civic a/c problem
My daughter's 2008 Honda Civic has an a/c problem. Originally took it in due to the a/c only blowing very cold air when accelerator was engaged. Dealer found a faulty relay, power system was empty, evacuated and recharged it. This did not fix the problem. Took it back to the dealer and told them the a/c will cool only when accelerator is pressed down, warm air comes out when stopped at a light. Dealer replaced condenser and compressor. It worked well enough for a week or two, then problem returned. Took it in to another local shop who determined it was low on refrigerant. Filled it and said it was ice cold now. On the way home from that shop, it still took a long time to get cool, and never got nice and cold. Same problem still happening - takes a long time to get cool and only intermittently gets cold depending on the day.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
