Default Rebuilding engine with Type S pistons. Any Suggestions?

I am planning on rebuilding my H22A engine with Type S pistons for my 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH. Does anyone have any suggestions for me on this project?

Will I need to get something like a HONDATA to get the ECU configured for these pistons or can I run it without modifying the stock ECU?

My goal is just to rebuild the engine, replacing all the worn-out parts. Most everything will be stock aside from the Type S pistons. This project stemmed from very low compression on one of the cylinders. Cylinder walls are in good shape.

Yes you can run it with stock ECU if thats your only upgrade.

Any upgrades I should consider with the Type-s pistons running at a higher compression?

I'm interested in learning more about different modifications that I can do while I have everything pulled apart.

I do have an interest in putting in a digital dashboard (ID4Motion Review - id4motion's digital s2000 cluster in my turbo honda - ID4Motion), but the unit I was looking at taps into the can bus on the HONDATA.

Would I need to source an obd1 ecu to install the HONDATA?
