Slow acceleration manual d17a
So recently I have gotten a head rebuild on my civic I have gotten the car back running good and solid it accelerates fairly quick at low rpm’s but once I reach say 5000 car feels like it’s not speeding up like it’s struggling. I have had a slipping clutch before and the car is manual btw! But this doesn’t feel like that. It feels more like the car won’t go past 110 hp and will stay like that and the rpm’s don’t stay stuck at a high number instead they slowly creep but but man it feels like it’s clogged or something any advice. I feel my problem might be my clutch still cause motor sounds healthy as crap and no engine codes but hears the catch it got my clutch replaced before my car went out and it was solid but after getting my car back after a while of not driving it. I hear a grinding noise everytime i press in the clutch. Like flywheels it coming to a stop and I can hear the **** inside the car. Also my throw out bearing still whining too. Any tips!!!
