Default B16A Backfire problems

Hey recently my car has been backfiring lil to much usually its on deceleration sometimes even when i shift into another gear it pops which is cool but it came out of no where. its not consistent but it is at the same time idk. i recently changed my spark plugs like a year ago. idk what else it could be. my spark plugs before i went to richtune would like foul out within like 6-8 months which he said shouldnt happen so he fixed that in my ecu(chipped p28). i havnt checked my spark plugs yet but the time someoen responds i probly will have already. any info would help thanks

Is your TPS set properly ? Fuel stops flowing when the TPS value reaches ZERO under deceleration. If the TPS value is greater than zero when decelerating, fuel is still flowing through the fuel injectors... and you get the pops and backfires.

how do i check if my TPS is set properly? it might of gone bad maybe or maybe the sensor itself is loose. cuz i havnt touched it at all. it started to happen more frequently recently.

i checked if it was loose it wasnt. i should of started to mess with the plug itself while it was running to see if like the RPM would change or sumthing.
