I have a 93 del sol a with windows that when close all the way go past the targa, also upon looking inside the door i found a little something that i have no idea where it goes.
1. how do i stop the window from going that far up
and 2. where does this part go to or attaches to?

That is a door glass stopper.

Your stopper plate is broken.
