ek brake pedal on eg pedal bracket
im doing research on a manual swap and i cant find just the brake pedal for an eg, i dont feel like doing the whole throttle cable. does anybody know if i take the eg auto pedals and swap just the brake pedal from a ek onto the bracket? everywhere i look they are talking about the whole pedal assembly but im just trying to swap over the brake pedal itself to save myself from having to change out my throttle cable.
im asking about the brake pedal, not the throttle pedal. if i take the eg brake pedal arm and remove it from the bracket that it bolts to, can i bolt in the ek brake pedal arm. if i wanted to swap the throttle pedal too i could just buy the whole shebang for the eg that already comes with both the gas and brake pedal and just bolt it in, except every manual swap thread says that the manual and auto throttle cable end is different so im trying to avoid that. i just want to reiterate, not asking about ek throttle pedal.
You say twice you dont want to change out your THROTTLE CABLE in the first post. And I think what JRCIVIC means is the cables mount the same way in both the pedal assemblies. So looking at the parts diagrams....the cables look different....but the mounting points look the same. The brake pedals have different positions for the return stop pad....but otherwise pretty close to the same.
