Strange Idle Issue on Auto to Man Swap Ek
I have a 1997 Civic EX (D16Y8) that has been recentley been converted from Auto to Manual but I seem to be having a weird idle issue (1500-2500 Surge). To Clarify There are no Vaccum Leaks and has been smoke tested many times. So I went to test the IACV via blocking the hole inside the throttle body that acts like an intake for the said iacv and when i slightly covered it I could reach a stable idle, So I automatically drew to the assumption that my IACV was getting stuck open and swapped out with a spare, and nothing changed, so I went to validate if I somehow mixed up the wires for the iacv plug when doing the 3-2 wire conversion and I flipped the wires in the connector and nothing happened. So I'm pretty much lost here, On HA Motorsports they said to move the IACV signal wire on connector A to pin A12 when converting but they were also converting to an obd1 p28 ecu while im using an obd2a P2P A31 Ecu which is supposedly was the same year as mine just with a manual. Could my ECU be bad? Could that pinout to A12 be wrong for an ob2a ecu? Any help is very much appreciated.
