I have a 2008 honda accord lx. My son and I were at a stop like when I heard this loud clank sound. After that the car would not move. While in gear it just revs and the speedometer goes up as if we are moving. Also the car rolls when it is in park. The car when on sounds normal, when you put it in drive it revs but no knocks clanks or anything. But when you put it in park, there's a grinding sound. 🤷🏻‍♂️ this is the most detailed description I can give you guys. Thanks for accepting me and ill appreciate all the help i can get. Thanks!

 

Almost sounds to me as if the transmission output shaft broke. Doesn't sound like a common occurrence, but anything is possible.
