My mom has been having problems with her keyless remotes for a while. I checked them yesterday and found when you press any of the buttons the red light doesn't come on. I checked the battery with my meter and I'm getting 2.9VDC so the battery is good. Then I pressed and held the lock and unlock buttons together and the red light blinks twice then stays on for a couple of seconds while the buttons are held. Aside from that, the remote does nothing. I tried the programming steps but since the remote doesn't light up when you press the lock/unlock button I can't program it.
