Hey i was going to get a performance timing belt ive heard people like the Gates racing belt but i also saw the TODA . is the Toda one good?? and what headgasket do u guys recommend. that pic is from speedfactory website btw

ok, ill bite. What is a performance timing belt?

 

its a stronger version of the OEM belt. i think the gates belt is like 300% more stronger or sumthing. is what ive been told. ment for like Higher RPMs if u go up there alot i do sumtimes

 

Usually manufactured with Kevlar added to the construction to increase tensile strength and reduce stretch.

 

Toda is great.

I have the gates belt on my B18C with zero issues.

 

I've never failed an OE one, even on 9krpm engines. But it won't hurt anything.
