So bear with me while I get back into the groove of things. Been 21 years since owning a Honda let alone working on them at the dealership. Has a code 21 VTEC spool valve. Previous owner replaced the VTEC solenoid and I can feel VTEC kick in. The civic has Hondata S300 so obviously it must be OBDI cause my Snap-On scanner doesn’t communicate with it. Got to check the wiring but wanted to quickly ask if this is a common problem? I did order new VTEC filter screen from Honda cause not sure if he replaced it.
