Icon5 Audio Adapter

Have you successfully connected an old-fashioned audio source to your Prologue? I mean a device with a 3.5mm socket designed for connecting to headphones, earbuds or an AUX connector. For example, I have an old iPod.

I tried two audio to Bluetooth adapters (this and that). The infotainment screen said, "this device is incompatible" when I attempted pairing either of them with the Prologue.

I tried several audio-to-USB adapters, without success. In each case, when I plugged the adapter into a USB-C socket just below the infotainment screen, the screen said "USB device not supported."

I have this issue with my 2017 ridgeline. Neither usb port not support. You will have to take it into your honda dealer for them to create a service report with honda. I am still waiting from an update from honda on the infotainment

One way to connect an old fashioned audio source is via an FM transmitter. For example, a Scosche TuneShift. This model has a 3.5mm AUX socket and a USB-A socket to power your old device.
