00 Civic EX Coupe OEM Front LCA bushing options?
Looking at the OEM parts sites, seems you can't buy front LCA bushings without having to buy the complete arm.
Are there any other options? I would prefer to stick with OEM or Mugen/Spoon equivalent. (No Hardrace, after seeing how a friend's front LCA bushings fail with 2 years of just strictly DD and said friend ALWAYS bolted everything back up at ride height and my experience with new OEM bushings have been good on my Integra).
I checked Mugen's options, but do EK4/EK9 bushings fit the two piece control arms of the 96-00 Civic EX front LCAs? Do JDM EK4 cars have that one piece control arm setup like the EM1 and EK9 cars and are those bushings the same diameter?
Would Integra front bushings fit? I see Honda discontinued those, but I believe Mugen still sells their bushings.

EK4 bushings will fit in your control arms.. Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure you cannot use the DC bushing.
As far as OEM goes, you can't buy the bushings separately. It's the entire assembly or nothing.

I haven't had an issue with Hardrace stuff. Only installed their engine mounts into my EM1 last week. I would recommend them, but you want to avoid them...
Try looking at Energy Suspension. They sell inserts. Other companies like SuperPro and Powerflex as well. I'd tell your friend to contact Hardrace. The rubber bushings are warrantied for 5 years.

Thanks, it's a street car with the occasionally autocross until I fix the Integra so going poly is out of the question. I've read all the past discussions on poly bushings to prefer to stick with rubber. I checked the Honda parts sties and saw the arms were all sold together with the bushings for the 96-00 Civic and CRV, whereas on the Integra before you could just buy the bushings yourself and press them in.
I may just buy the Mugen front bushings or the J's racing.
My friend did end up getting rid of the car years a few years ago (2020), but the bushing had disintegrated and he went back with OEM and had no issues. Mirrors the experiences of what Chris at Kingpin machine had mentioned about hardrace bushings...
