Icon5 2000: Window exterior molding compatibility

Does anyone know if the exterior window molding for the 2000 Civic is the same as any other year model? I see some with the same part numbers as below but "S03" and am curious if they will fit. I have awful chipping on these that catch when I wash the windows with a mitt and they look terrible. Seems like the rear window moldings are discontinued. Most junkyard molding is either chrome (wont match the car's silver color, plus would have to replace the top molding too) or looks just as bad as mine.

Part numbers for 2000:
72410-S04-003
72450-S04-003

Any suggestions for good replacements for a 2000 sedan would be great, I see some ebay sets but they aren't OEM.

Since Honda still makes those trim pieces, why not just buy it from them? Only other option is to get them from the salvage yard or individual. That's a crap shoot because the parts are likely old and/or damaged already.

Mainly because I want a full set for a sedan, they only make the front door pieces still. Also price is kinda a factor, so I was hoping to find a wider range of vehicles to choose from to get the pieces. I can find the 99 model year ones cheaper it seems.

Those are LEFT and RIGHT part numbers. Window moldings would be the same for a '99 and '00 Civic chassis assuming it is the same body type (2-DR, 3-DR Hatch, 4-DR, etc.).

Only the hatch and coupe share doors. The sedan is the odd one out.

Any idea if the 96-98 doors are the same as the 99-00? Definitely will be grabbing from sedan for the entire set when I find one.

Obviously... everybody knows that the coupe and hatch share doors and the sedan doors are different. Apparently, I didn't state that clear enough... a '99 hatch and a '00 hatch would use the same part numbers... a '99 coupe and a '00 coupe would also use the same part numbers... and a '99 sedan, as well as a '00 sedan, would use the same part numbers as well (although these parts would in fact differ from those that fit the coupe and hatch). What I was stating was that a '99 "X" door and a '00 "X" door are the same... NOT that "X", "Y", and "Z" door models ALL use the same mouldings for model years 1999 and 2000.

At the time of my first response here, I believed that the '96-98 model year door mouldings are the same as the '99-00... but I wasn't sure, so I did NOT state it at the time. After researching the two part numbers that you displayed in your first post, the fitment does in fact come back for model years '96-00.
