5th Gen P0171 CEL JDM H22a Swap, Resistor Box?
Hello guys, I've been trying to clear the P0171 (Fuel Lean) Code on my 98 Prelude, car is running and driving fine. I have looked for the common problems, vacuum leak, restricted fuel filter, etc. This car has an H22A JDM swap. Before I go and dump anymore money into this problem I did some research to see if this code could be caused by running the 4th gen injectors on a 5th gen because they came with the engine. People on forums are saying you need a resistor box with 4th gen injectors and the OEM OBD2 wire harness and P5M ECU. I wanted to see if this was true. or if there are any other areas I should check with a H22A swap. or should I just go to OEM testing procedures with fuel pressure checks, etc.
The only thing I remember swapping over from the USDM engine was the oil pump.
I will answer any question regarding the car and swap I know I probably left a lot of info needed out.
(first time ever posting on a forum, hence my message being all over the place.)
