Masters of the universe, I am at your mercy. Ok, so I screwed up lol. My alternator went bad (I think, check battery system came on and I had just put in a third party alternator 2 months ago).


While waiting for my new alternator to arrive, I found this alternator tester thing that plugs into the dc port but I had already taken out my battery to charge. So without a battery in the car, I clamped a jump starter device to the connectors to get the car started. However, it has a boost feature which I activated the tester showed the voltage was too high. The van then turned off after about 30 seconds. And no more electricity whatsoever. Even after I connect a different jump starter / battery.


Where do I start? Are there fuses that it burned or did I just fry the whole car? Which fuses would it burn?? I tried to look at some of the fuses but it’s overwhelming

You may have blown the main fuse (125A) located in the main under hood fuse box.
