I have a 92 Accord that has had transmission issues. It started out by not having first or fourth gear. Was told they changed shift solenoid, but they changed lock solenoid. Problem still there. So I changed fluid it was real bad dirty. I also changed both solenoids. No change, so I pulled tcm it was visibly damaged. So got a remanufactured tcm installed got all gears, but take off was very sluggish so I would shift manually. That helped so 6 months later I hit a deer. Drivers side front, then 3 days later lost fourth gear& reverse. Revers would engage give it gas it would slip out go to drive to back to revers and it would work a little.
So l checked the tcm it had shorted out same place as the first one. Got a new tcm I installed it no change, so tested the shift solenoid one below the lock solenoid, one side was weak. So got another I installed it. Test drove and now no revers at all, and only have second gear. So I am reaching out to see if any one has had or solved this kind of problem. Thanks.
