Default Captiva Blue Civic Dx

I picked up what I think is a decent hatch I can spend my retirement funds on. I got the car last year but just recently started to fix somethings and drive it around. It came with a blown head gasket on the d15b7 and stock ride height. I took care of the head gasket and did some preventative maintenance while I was at it.

So far I adjusted the height with some coilovers and put a set of Mugen MF10L wheels on for the time being. I've been scooting around with 40mpg and just enjoying it for what it is at the moment.

I plan on finding a decent body shop to do a full respray, do a 4x114.3 conversion to run a set of Mugen MF8's I had refinished by my guys at Exotics Motorsports. I have a few options for B Series swaps, I'm leaning towards either a high comp 1.8 or 2.0 liter gsr with a ported head and some Toda cams. I'll figure it out after the respray.

When I decided to buy another project.

After making it drivable.

That looks like a pretty clean base to start with. I'm looking forward to your progress.

I started assembling an engine for the car. It's a B18C1 block bored to 81.5mm with and paired with a balanced rotating assembly, Wiseco +5cc dome pistons and K1 rods. I'll post about the head when I get it back from the machinist.
