‘14 Odyssey AC stops cooling when idling
The AC on our 2014 Odyssey Limited stops cooling and actually throws warm air after idling for a bit. I cannot leave the car running with the AC on and expect it stay cool with the wifey inside.
Anyone know what to check? (ie. Did I screw up a setting), or know what the problem is?
It runs fine once I’m on the road again - nice n cold.

LX?
sounds like speed is a factor, or more precisely air flow. that's a dead giveaway for the condenser fan. that should be easy to confirm.
Pop the hood with the engine warmed up and running and with the A/C on. Both radiator fans should be on. one may cycle off and on (passenger's side), but the other should stay on all the time. watch if for at least 10 minutes to be sure.
If you find one is not coming on, you can try checking for voltage at the connector with a multimeter under the same conditions as above. 12V shows up- you can be fairly certain the fan motor has died. No voltage- check the fuse and wires for damage. beyond that, you'll need a circuit diagram at minimum to continue troubleshooting.
