2015 Honda Pilot Burning smell.
*Did a recent oil change, new engine air filter and fuel system clean service; no change in smell.
*159,232 Miles
So i've been noticing a burning smell coming through the air vents in my moms 2015 honda pilot, when it gets to about 3rd or 4th gear sitting anywhere between 2-3k rpms there's quite a harsh burning smel. i've noticed the longer it sits at around 2.6k rpm the more the burning smell will be present. this problem has been a thing for the last 6 months if not longer and was once very intermittent but now it happens almost every drive. no check engine light is present. not sure what to do about this. The car runs amazing no sign or feeling of a misfire and all the gears shift smoothly. I should add that once it gets passed that gear the burning smell goes away! and the engine temp is always good as well.
