Default 2004 Honda civic hybrid

I have a 2004 Honda civic hybrid, it was sitting for about a year and a half and I replaced the battery under the hood and by passed the ac compressor. I drove it for about 2 days and on the third day the dash and shut off the lights and gauges shut off and the car would bog down, I would jump it off and it would run for 5 minutes then do the same thing. I took the battery to the local auto parts store and it was past dead, I got a new one and it started right back but. So I’m guessing somethings not charging the battery while it’s running. Any hints to what I need to do or replace or what might be the problem

Battery is charged by the DC-DC converter in the IMA system between the back seat and trunk.

Is the IMA light on and the red battery light?

A more advanced scan tool with show IMA data and codes.
