Folks, my daughter just bought a used 2015 Honda Accord with the 4 cylinder engine and CVT transmission. The car is in great shape and seems to be a beautiful car, but every so often when she is at a traffic light, after the light turns green, the car revs like the car is in neutral. She shifts it in to park and back and it will not Engauge in drive. She has to put the car in park and shut the car off and restart it. This seems to fix the issue for a while. The mechanics say there are no codes being pulled up, and they say this is the first time they have heard of this. Have any of you had or heard of this situation? Any fixes? I am afraid this will happen and she will end up getting rear ended while messing with it! Or the transmission will completely fail and I will be on the hook for replacing it. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
